A few years ago we photographed our first wedding in the Adirondacks and since then, it has sort of become a home away from home for us. This September we got invited back to Old Forge (a couple towns over from Inlet), for Shauna and Pat’s wedding. We came up a day early to get settled in to our airbnb and explore Old Forge a little bit before Shauna & Pat’s big day, (and of course, we couldn’t leave without climbing Black Bear Mountain once!).
We’ve said it before, but Shauna and Pat are two of the most wonderful and genuine people we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We got the chance to meet up with them in NYC a month before their wedding, where we spent time exploring Brooklyn for their engagement session. After their engagement session we were even more excited to be a part of their day and to meet their family and friends. Before we knew it, the end of September was here and we found ourselves in the Adirondacks with the most beautiful fall day. Shauna & Pat’s wedding was everything we imagined and more and we are so excited to share a peek into their day.
A big thank you to their vendors for helping to make their day incredible: Venue: Great Pines Lodge, Old Forge | Food, (which was an incredible and delicious FULL vegan Menu): Great Pines Lodge, Head Chef Daryl Hogan | Wedding Planner and Coordinator: Jordan Marcel Designs , (who also did the incredible florals!) | Hair: Vanessa from Suite V Brooklyn | Makeup: Tease and Makeup | Dress: Rebecca Schoneveld in Brooklyn | Shoes: Gucci (we LOVE the snake on them!) Suit: Bindle and Keep | Donuts from Eagle Bay: The Donut Shop | Cake: Bite Cafe | DJ: Sweet V | Band: Soul Injection
