Shawn & Jeremy had the most romantic, candelit ceremony at the Karpeles Manuscript Museum. Their beautiful reception was held at Babeville: Asbury Hall. We’ve been excited for this wedding since Shawn & Jeremy both stopped over to meet us back in the beginning of the year. The best part about this wedding was a great connection we felt as photographers matched up with perfect, made-for-us clients. Shawn & Jeremy are kind & funny and have a super amazing dog named Lincoln. (dogs weren’t allowed at the wedding but we found a stand-in Lincoln for formals). Shawn & Jeremy also have a love & appreciation for design (they designed their whole wedding), and they “get” our crazy photographer antics for needing lines to match up and filling the frame.
We are so excited to have started the 2014 wedding season on the road, photographing some of the nicest people in the world. We ventured to Connecticut right after winter storm Hercules hit the East Coast to photograph Aziza & Zeeshan’s wedding reception at the historic Lounsbury House in Ridgefield, CT . Here are some of our favorites from their day:
I had one goal on this Monday morning and that was to get Erin & Tom’s blog post up. I work up early, got my coffee and finished up what was due!
Erin & Tom know how to pack a punch. They hired me for a little over two hour coverage and within those two hours I experienced the most fun & most grateful & most “we’ll try anything you say” type of people. We had so much fun with this wedding that I want to meet up and do it all over again. Erin & Tom could not have asked for a better day or better group of people to get married with. There also was an amazing hill located on the premises and I’ve been secretly wishing and hoping for a hill to appear at one of my weddings. I had a hard time picking my favorites from this wedding so note that this is HALF of my favorites 🙂 I can’ wait to share the rest with you guys, but for now, enjoy the preview 🙂
