As a Buffalo family photographer, I love capturing the little moments that make life wonderful. My family and I call Buffalo home for a small portion of the year, and I am honored to document many incredible families here and in the surrounding areas. I’d love to photograph your ever-changing family in your home or in the Buffalo and WNY region. My natural approach to family photography helps you preserve this moment in time just as it is.
I offer hybrid family sessions starting at $995 and full film family sessions for $1200. Both include the full set of images with a download, sharing, and print release. I can travel to the Rochester area (up to one hour from Buffalo) for an additional $150.
Travel Information
I live in Naples, Florida most of the year but try to make it back to Buffalo, NY every summer where I love photographing families on film. I am usually home mid to late june until early august but reach out at [email protected] to learn more!

Your Family on Film with Brian Shaw
It wasn’t until the birth of our daughter that I started exploring film photography. I now photograph all Buffalo family photography sessions on the film medium. These sessions are an extension of my love of film and allow me to tell your story in an authentic and timeless way.
With film photography, there is a slowed-down approach that includes both candid and posed images. I encourage playful and comfortable interactions between your family while documenting your natural connections. My focus is always on capturing your family as natural and wonderful as you are.
