In the middle of a busy wedding season, senior portraits have become my week-evening refugee to the outdoors and creative exploration. They are often the only thing to tear me away from my editing desk and each and every time I am so thankful to be pulled away. All senior sessions are held the hour before sunset, in the most magical light, and if possible, close to water, where a running creek or small wave crashing in can ignite our inspiration for the evening.
I’ve had the chance to work with some of the most wonderful and talented seniors, and I am so grateful for each and every session and the creative and beautiful energy that comes with it. After each session, I am left in awe, feeling renewed and gently reminded to stay playful while I continue to chase what’s important and close to my heart.
