Wedding season is right around the corner and I couldn’t be more excited. Erin and Tom’s session was the start of what’s soon to be this year’s amazingness and it reminded me of how lucky I am to be doing what I’m passionate about – (and even luckier to be doing it in a city I love with people that make it so great). We arranged Erin and Tom’s e-session back in February when we had a week of freak early spring weather and we all thought winter was gone for good. Fast forward to the week of April 26th, our scheduled session: a mix of snow, rain and cold temps. But that’s what I love about Buffalo and Buffalonian’s- we know how quick things can change (like the weather)- and sometimes… if we ride it out, the change is for the best. Erin and I talked twenty minutes before our scheduled session and decided we’d take a chance on the forecast. When we finally arrived in Lockport, the rain had cleared & there was the most beautiful glow in the sky. And even though the wind tested our ability to withstand the cold, it couldn’t have added a better special touch to a few of the shots. Erin&Tom, thanks for keeping each other warm and exploring Lockport with us- you guys are wonderful in so many ways (and Tom, your beard rocks!!). We are already looking forward to June and so incredibly honored to document this time in your life.
