Recently, we had the pleasure to work with Folls Flowers in Skaneateles, New York at a beautiful destination wedding we photographed that took place at the Skaneateles Country Club. We love traveling for destination weddings of all kinds and Skaneateles is no exception! On top of it, the flowers were so beautiful and we were inspired to do a feature blog post of their work in case you’re looking for the best Florist in the Skaneateles or Finger Lake area! We talked to Thea and Hal Folls, the owners of Folls Flowers to find out more about their wedding flower business in Skaneateles and were amazed to find out some details about their farm! Folls Flowers have been flower farmers since 2000. They bought the 98-acre farm they grow on in September of 1999 and a friend gave Thea a copy of Lynn Byczynski’s, The Flower Farmer. They started planning the next season and have been flower farmers in Skaneateles ever since. Folls Flowers primarily services the Skaneateles area but will travel for weddings to the Finger Lakes, Syracuse, and Ithaca areas. Thea especially loves the John Joseph Inn near Ithaca, (which we’ve never photographed at, but would love to!)
