We were thrilled to kick off our 2014 wedding season with a stunning wedding at Lounsbury House CT in Ridgefield, celebrating Aziza & Zeeshan’s unforgettable day. The historic charm of this landmark venue set the perfect backdrop for their elegant reception, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful way to begin the year.
One of the things we love most about being wedding photographers is getting to travel and capture love stories in such meaningful places — and this celebration was no exception. Knowing how unpredictable New England winters can be, we arrived in Ridgefield a few days early and narrowly missed one of the biggest snowstorms of the season. When we checked into our hotel, we were the only car in the parking lot after days of closures — a sure sign of just how much snow had fallen!
Although the air was still chilly on Aziza & Zeeshan’s wedding day, we managed to sneak them outside for a few wintery portraits before heading back into the warmth of their celebration. Inside, the atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments shared with their wonderfully welcoming families.
