We are so excited to share a preview of Meghan and Forrest’s Burchfield Penney Wedding in Buffalo, New York. Burchfield Penney is a beautiful art center, with engaging artwork and award-winning architecture. Additionally, their indoor space is clean and modern, with a large patio for guests to enjoy.
There is so much to say about this couple! The words that come to mind first are they are the most sincere and down to earth couple you will ever meet. We’ve known Meghan and Forrest for over a few years. But we really never got the chance to hang one on one with them until we photographed their engagement session back in Brooklyn this past spring. We had such a fun time photographing them and getting to know them more. We couldn’t wait to celebrate with them this summer.

When their wedding day came along they had the most perfect day. They had good luck rain showers that seemed to magically stop just at the right moments when we needed to do the first look and take portraits. They had an intimate and personalized ceremony with handwritten vows. The speeches were incredible and made us laugh AND cry all at once, (we love good wedding speeches!). And they had an incredible double rainbow at the end of the night! It lit up their reception sky and had everyone in awe.
Meghan wore a beautiful and intricate Rue De Seine wedding dress. We absolutely loved the detail and low back on it! It had embroidered lace all over, with a satin slip under. The gorgeous flowers were made by a family friend, Johanna. The flowers were bright and colorful, with hot pinks, purples and lots of greenery. The bouquet had bright roses, football mums, ranunculus, and draping eucalyptus. We absolutely adore Meghan’s super practical and stylish gold salt water flat sandals. I’ve been looking for a pair myself and since it’s the end of the season they are all sold out of my size!
